Okay, now for the knitting. I've been knitting since 2007 when I found out I was pregnant with Padric (aka Ricky, Monster). I taught myself by watching youtube videos.
I'd like to think I'm a pretty accomplished Knitter. I've knit everything from socks to hats. I love the instant gratification of knitting small things but there is nothing better than the feeling of accomplishment when I've finished blocking a very intricate piece of lace.
I ventured a little into the "entrepreneur" world and had my own business making stitch markers under the name Needlebling. I had table space with my good friends at Froebe Fibers. A mother/daughter team, who not only shared their table with me but, adopted my family as part of their own. That didn't go too well. The business, that is, not the friendship. They still have a table at most of the shows here in the Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan area. If you happen to be at one of their shows, at least 3 of their sample pieces are my handiwork.
